Thanks Mrs. Cunningham for her hospitality: "You Scottish folk, are so delightful in friendly intercourse. I never could understand why the world called you a 'cold people'. I am sure we never found you so . . . ." Asks if Mr. Pagan has the music for "'Come o'er the stream Charlie' and the last song, written by Mr. Cunningham which he sung? It was about the sea, if he has got the music and would lend it me for a day, I would esteem it a great favor."
